中文摘要:毫米波具有频带宽、穿透力强、抗干扰能力好等特点,因此被广泛应用于通信、雷达、武器制导等方面。毫米波功率放大器作为整个系统的关键器件一直以来都是研究的热点。基于径向波导合成技术,设计了一款W波段功率放大器。功放采用4路氮化镓MMIC单片合成设计,在90GHz处输出功率为3.7W,合成效率为94.3%,具有较好的工程应用价值。

Design of a W-band power amplifier/combiner based on spatial power-combining technique
Abstract:Millimeter wave has the advantages of frequency bandwidth, strong penetrating power and good anti-interference ability which makes it widely used in communications, radar, weapon guidance and so on. Millimeter-wave power amplifiers as a key device for the entire system has always been a hot topic. In this paper, basing on the radial-line waveguide combining technology, the W-band power amplifier is designed. The design of amplifier uses 4-way GaN MMIC combination. The output power is 3.7 W at 90GHz and the combining efficiency is 94.3%. This structure has a good engineering application value.
