Abstract:An artificial neural network with the hidden layer consisting of wavelets was presented for the identification on target profiles of step frequency MMW radar. The good localization characteristics of wavelet functions in both time and frequency space allowed hierarchical multi-resolution learning of input-output data mapping. The mathematic frame of the neural network and error back propagation algorithm were introduced. The procedure of the identification which uses wavelet neural network was described in detail. Then the presented approach was applied to the target profile identification of step frequency MMW radar. The results indicate that the method is valuable for target profile identification.

Abstract:The infrared radiant track along meridian course(IRRTM)over human body surface could be elicited by local heating acupoint or non-acupoint along meridian course. The thermal conductivity of the corresponding tissues along meridian course was better than that of nonmeridain area. The physical character between the two was really different in certain aspect. This discovery provided an important basis for further clarifying the mechanism of the appearance of IRRTM and the substantiality of its formation.

Abstract:Operational modular imaging spectrometer (OMIS), an advanced optical mechanical scanning imaging spectrometer was developed. It has 128 spectral bands ranging from visible to thermal infrared wavelength. Its application fields include geology, agriculture, forest, ocean, etc. The system designs, running configurations and functions of OMIS were introduced. Multiple examples of remote sensing applications of OMIS since 2000 were briefly given.

Abstract:Based on the simulation of infrared images of ships without any background, the principles and methods of computerized simulation of infrared images of ships in the ocean and atmosphere background were explored. The simulation is as follows: first, the ship target and the background, which consists of the atmosphere and sea surface, were treated separately to obtain their independent infrared images; then the two images were combined into one image of the ship in the background. A series of typical infrared images were computed by using the authors' calculating and displaying softwares.
Abstract:提出一种从图像出发 ,直接估算机载遥感系统中的陀螺稳定平台稳定精度的方法 .利用飞行PHI数据计算出OMIS所带的稳定平台的总体稳定精度达到± 4.33′.

Abstract:报道了用MBE的方法,在ZnCdTe衬底上制备Hg1-xCdxTe薄膜的位错密度的研究结果.研究发现Hg1-xCdxTe材料的位错密度与ZnCdTe衬底的表面晶体损伤、Hg1-xCdxTe生长条件以及材料组分密切相关.通过衬底制备以及生长条件的优化,在ZnCdTe衬底上生长的长波Hg1-xCdxTe材料EPD平均值达到4.2×105cm-2,标准差为3.5×105cm-2,接近ZnCdTe衬底的位错极限.可重复性良好,材料位错合格率为73.7%,可满足高性能Hg1-xCdxTe焦平面探测器对材料位错密度的要求.

Abstract:The photoluminescence (PL) of ZnSe 0.92Te 0.08?ZnSe superlattice quantum wells at 77K under hydrostatic pressure up to 7.8 GPa was studied. Strong PL peaks from excitons trapped in isoelectronic traps in ZnSe 0.92Te 0.08 were observed. It was found that the pressure coefficients of the PL peaks from Te traps are about half of that of ZnSe. It demonstrates the localized characteristic of the potential of Te isoelectronic traps. The excitons transition between Te traps in ZnSe 1-xTe x and (CdSe) 1?(ZnSe) 3 superlattice was also investigated.

Abstract:提出了一种新的曲率倒易法首次成功地在Si衬底上制作出64×256凹柱面折射微透镜阵列,扫描电子显微镜(SEM)显示微透镜阵列为表面轮廓清晰的凹柱面阵列,表面探针测试结果显示凹微透镜阵列表面光滑、单元重复性好,其平均凹深为2.643μm,凹深非均匀性为8.45%,平均焦距为-47.08μm.
Abstract:采用高度稀释的前驱体溶液在LaNiO3(LNO)薄膜上沉积了Ba0.9Sr0.1TiO3(BST)薄膜。X-射线衍射分析表明BST薄膜呈高度的(100)择优取向。原子力显微镜测量发现制备的BST薄膜具有大的晶粒尺寸80-200nm。用椭偏光谱仪测量了光子能量为0.7-3.4eV范围内BST薄膜的椭偏光谱,用Cauchy模型描述BST薄膜的光学性质,获得了BST薄膜的光学常数谱和禁带宽度Eg=3.36eV。

Abstract:Pyroelectric IRFPA imaging system and its basic signal processing, including nonuniformity correction and signal difference, etc., were discussed. By the experiments with SSPA to simulate the pyroelectric IRFPA imaging system, the satisfied image was obtained. It lays foundations for the development of pyroelectric IRFPA imaging system.
Abstract:A new wavelet-based joint source-channel image coding scheme was proposed. For each subband, the statistical variable-coefficient fixed-length (VCFL) coding algorithm was applied, then different rate-compatible punctured convolutional (RCPC) code was used before transmission to provide unequal error protection (UEP). Given the total transmission bits, an optimal algorithm was used to minimize the total distortion. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme has higher compression ratio and performs well on channels with high bit error rate(BER).

Abstract:The image segmentation method based on deformable model was presented. The internal and external force fields were improved on the basis of a balloon's force field. By controlling the direction of the force field, Snakes were shrinked and split continuously, and at last the image was segmented into different sections. The experiments of synthetic and real images show that the method is effective.

Abstract:The basic performance requirement of exploiting background subtraction approach in long-term color video surveillance system was described. To meet the requirement, an algorithm was also proposed. In this approach, by using the multi-distribution models in lightness and chromaticity spaces,the background model was built. The multi-distribution models were then updated using independent mean and covariance updating rate and model replacing rate. When a pixel could be represented by more than one distribution model, the model which has the minimum similarity distance was updated. The approach also involves the detection of the sudden changes in illumination by the feedback of the information of foreground pixels and the suppression of shadow influenced by lightness information. Experiments show that the method satisfies the demands of long-term video surveillance.
Abstract:By merging an attenuation factor into the Maxwell equations, a time evanescent auxiliary field was obtained. The characteristic of the auxiliary fields and its equations, and difference formulas were presented. The numerical examples show that the technique of artificial attenuation technique is efficient in analysis of high-Q resonant circuits, and the same accuracy of numerical results as the conventional finite difference time domain method can be achieved.

Abstract:报道了用分子束外延的方法制备 3英寸HgCdTe薄膜的研究结果 ,获得的HgCdTe外延材料均匀性良好 ,在直径 70mm圆内 ,组份标准偏差率为 1.2 % ,对应 80K截止波长偏差仅为 0 .1μm .经过生长条件的改进 ,表面形貌获得了大幅度改善 ,缺陷密度小于 30 0cm-2 ,缺陷尺寸小于 10 μm ,可以满足大规模HgCdTe焦平面列阵的应用需求
Abstract:By considering the main current mechanism in the long-wavelength HgCdTe photodiode, theoretical calculation of R 0A was done by choosing proper parameters. Calculations show that, given n side substrate concentration, the p side doping concentration should not be too large on considering the limitation of the tunneling current,and vice versa. The relation of optimal concentration with the substrate concentration was calculated and the corresponding R 0A was also obtained.
Abstract:A new image denoising method of wavelet shrinkage threshold based on Bayesian estimation was proposed. The coefficients of wavelet transform of image were estimated by minimizing Bayes risk in the proposed method. The estimation is not only related to the orientation and the level of the subband, but also to the wavelet coefficients. The experimental results show that the denoising effect of the proposed method is better than that of other methods based on wavelet shrinkage. Although the denoising effect of this method is worse than one of Wiener filters at low peak-signal-noise ratio, it is better than Wiener filters at high peak-signal-noise ratio.

Abstract:Disadvantages of wavelet approaches were found by the authors as follows. When the scale of wavelet decomposition is small, mosaic occurs on the fusion image; when the scale of wavelet decomposition is large, color content of fusion image loses greatly, and when the scale of wavelet decomposition is equal to image size, mosaic disappears and color content degrades mostly. It was also found that the mosaic size is equal to the scale. The larger the scale is, the more degradation of color content will be. The reason of the above disadvantages was analyzed carefully based on one-dimensional signal model. Finally, experiments were given to illustrate the disadvantages of wavelet approaches.
