Abstract:A new high-power plasma millimetre-wave radiation system-Ion-Channel Electron Cyclotron Maser (ICECM) was studied. The electromagnetic instability of the system was analyzed, and compared with other electron cyclotron masers. Through the present 3-D linear theory analysis,the basic featrues of ICECM are shown.

Abstract:Analysis of the millimeter wave propagation in a rectangular dielectric waveguide using the FDTD method is presented. In comparison with other methods,the FDTD method is not restricted in the cases of higher or lower permittivity, and good results can be reached even at high permittivity. By using the FDTD method,the propagation constant of each mode as well as its field distribution can be obtained.

Abstract:A new kind of correlation detection technique was presented. On the basis of frequency modulation,the time-division detection was used and the double correlations of frequency and time were realized. By the technique, when applied in the plane detecting system with parallel infrared rays,the DC and adjacent radiation interference can be removed completely, thus making the reliability and accuracy of the IR plane detecting system improved greatly.
Abstract:The infrared radiance statistics of natural terrain in a random wind field was analyzed based on the heat balance equation,in which the effects of latent and sensible hea texchanges and atmospheric thermal radiation are under consideration. The results show that the statistics distribution,average value,variance,skewness and kurtosis of radiative temperature of bare terrain vary not only with the average wind speed,but also with the fluctuation of wind. As a result of the latent heat exchange, the average temperature of natural terrain is obviously lower than that of dry bare ground,where there is no latent heat exchange.

Abstract:Two-dimensional image formation in OCT system was analyzed based on the weak object approximation. It was proved that the OCT system behaves as a linear shift inyariance system. The derived 2-D CTF shows that the system performs as a low-pass filter. Smaller distance between the fiber and the lens will not spoil the performance seriously. Decreasing the focus and enlarging the pupil will broaden the system bandwidth, and improve the imaging performance.

Abstract:根据有效折射率法和光束传播法分析了大截面单模SOI脊形X型交叉波导的传输特性.指出交叉角在1.5~2°内,因导波模式引起耦合作用而导致的串音小于-25dB;采用波动光学原理分析了非对称全内反射开关导模的传输和反射特性;讨论了等离子体色散效应,Pn结大注入效应以及Goos-Hanchen位移,并分析了非对称全内反射型SOI光波导开关的电学性质.据此优化设计了该器件的结构参数和电学参数.
Abstract:The N-doped and N-undoped single crystal silicon under different conditions was investigated by means of Fourier Transfosm Infrared Spectroscope (FTIR) at room temperature (300K) and low temperature (SK). The experiments pointed out that the 1030cm-1, 1000cm-1 and 806cm-1 optical absorption lines are related to the nitrogenoxygen complex in nitrogen-doped CZ silicon.

Abstract:With the help of infrared photoelatic system,the residual stress induced by diffusion and nickelage process in the fabrication of power rectifier was measured and analyzed. The residual stress and stress distribution of diffusing boron-aluminium, diffusing phosphorus and plating nickel in silicon wafer were obtained by using the Senarmont compensation method.
Abstract:A full-wave analysis method was presented with the numerical mode matching theory to analyze the hybrid mode waveguide problems filled with inhomogeneous media.The unified dispersion equation and the general electromagnetic field expressions in thewaveguides were proposed. As an example,the transmission characteristics of the partially filled rectangular waveguides were calculated numerically,which can show good agreement between the results with the present theory and with the others.

Abstract:The nonlinear effects of stopband shift downward and widening induced by the magnetostatic surface wave power in ferromagnetic slabs with bouble corrugated surfaces were investigated. The spatial phase difference between the two surfaces of the slab has significant influence on the width of stopband and weakens the nonlinear effects of the wave power. Under certain conditions it makes the stopband of the system disappear.

Abstract:On the basis of theoretical study, experiments on passive microwave remote sensing used in the earthquake prediction were carried out. Loading experiments on rock samples of different properties and structures were made. It was obtained that the microwave radiation energy of rock samples changes obviously along with the change of stress state. The amplitudes of the change are different in different wave bands. The amount of variation with stress of different polarization is different. The variation of microwave radiation energy can be measured by microwave remote sensor on satellite. The obviously anomalous information of microwave radiation before rock failure was also discovered by experiments.
Abstract:By solving the laser-DNA interaction equation and calculating the correlation dimension,it was concluded that the DNA molecules system can be excited into the chaos state, by laser. The influence of different laser frequencies on the DNA system chaos was discussed and the genetic variation phenomenon caused by laser in a large frequency range was explained.
