Abstract:The properties of a filter mounted in various configurations are analyzed. The formulas to calculate the spectral incident power in the detected area of an image system consisting of a filter and the transmissivity of the filter for the ideal Lambertian radiant object plane are derived.
Abstract:Based on the theory of MTF in optics, the features of VISSR optical imaging system are analyzed. A criterion and a method for VISSR focusing are proposed and the experiment and the results for the frequency analysis method using FFT through receiving stretcher digital images of the Japaness GMS-4 satellite are given. The tests show that the method developed in this paper would be useful and practical for VISSR focusing control of the geostationary meteorological satellite on the orbit.
Abstract:The relationship between the increase of CH_4 concentration in the atmosphere and the exit radiance in some channels in CH_4 absorption bands was investigated through radiative transfer calculations. It was found that with proper CH_4 channels on satellites the increase of CH_4 concentration in the atmosphere in seismic areas before earthquake can be monitored, hence it might become a useful means to monitor a kind of earthquake precursor and be used in earthquake prediction.
Abstract:Based on the characteristic matrix of a lamellar structure, a matrix method about thermal wave transmission and reflection coefficients is presented, and a calculating formula for photothermal radiometry signal of the multilayer media is given. The results of two three-ply samples calculated by this method are in good agreement with experimental data.
Abstract:Based on the nonlinear effect of photothermal radiometry(PTR), a theoretical model of nonlinear heat conduction along with boundary conditions is developed, from which the representations of the second-harmonic signal of PTR are derived. Furthermore, the general features of the second-harmonic signal are discussed, and all of these are well demonstrated by the experimental results. This nonlinear theory provides a theoretical basis for the applications of the nonlinear PTR technique.

Abstract:A new kind of optical limiter by using the energy transfer of incident beam to oscillation is proposed. The oscillation loops in the shapes of parallelogram and figure-eight were observed simultaneously and separately in the experiment for SBN crystals. The threshold conditions of different kinds of oscillation and the relation of transmissivity to the coupling constant are given. The way to control the oscillation and thus the behaviors of optical limiter are also discussed.
Abstract:分析了全硅结栅控制双注入波导电光开关及电光调制器的工作原理,给出了器件的某些参数,并对其频带宽度进行了数字估算,经有效折射率△n_(eff)分析表明,这类DIFET波导电光器件是切实可行的。

Abstract:测量了GaAs/AlGaAs多量子阱红外探测器的伏安特性I_b(T_D,V_b)、黑体光响应电压V_S(T_D,T_B,V_b)和噪声电压V_N(T_D,V_b),由此获得器件的黑体电压响应率R_(VB)(T_D,V_b)和探测率D_B~*(T_D,V_b)并用Lorentz光响应线形对V_S(T_D,T_B,V_b)拟合给出器件的光电流谱的峰值波长λ_P和半峰宽λ_w。
Abstract:The experimental studies of the effect of surface oxide layer on Hg_(1-x)Cd_xTe Hall data are reported. The experimental results are well explained by using a two-layer conduction model.

Abstract:In the optical-mechanical scanner which uses an oscillating mirror to scan cross tracks, the correction of spacecraft motion can decrease the scan frequency and increase the scan efficiency by a factor of 2, respectively. This is very valuable. The MODIS-N correcting concept and its application axe discussed in this paper.
Abstract:Through analyses of the temperature characteristics of sensitivity and the wavelength ratio criterion in the colorimetric method, the matching principle of colorimetric wavelength is discussed, in an attempt to give the theoretical foundation of the colorimetric wavelength selection.
