Abstract:Solitons and solitary waves in inhomogeneous media are of interest in relativistic quantum mechanics and quantum electronics, e. g. in research on infrared soliton lasers. After a short introduction to soliton mathematics the authors present a theoretical study on solitons and solitary waves in inhomogeneous one-dimensional nonlinear media on the basis of nonlinear Klein-Gordon equations modified by spatial variations of refractive index and anharmonic potential. Special emphasis is on periodic modulations. Various approaches and approximations have been applied to find solitary-wave and soliton solutions. Typical solutions are illustrated in order to demonstrate their characteristic features.
Abstract:The theoretical and experimental results about the surface electron subband structure in N-type inversion layer for the P-type Hg_(1-x)Cd_xTe MIS structure samples have been disoussed. The model and the related method to investigate quantitatively the surface electron subband structure by using the capacitance-voltage spectroscopy, cyclotron resonance spectroscopy and magneto-conductivity oscillations have been desoribed. Starting from the Kane model and taking into account the surface electron spin-orbit interaction, the subband dispersion relation, Landau level and effective g~* factor have been obtained, which agree well with the subband electron cyclotron resonance and spin resonance results measured for the P-type Hg_(1-x)Cd_xTe samples. Based on these results, the zero field spin splitting effect, the shifting and crossing effect of Landau levels as well as the wave-function mixture, etc., arising from the surface electron spin-orbit interaction have been investigated quantitatively.

Abstract:首先报道并系统地研究了掺杂YBa_2Cu_(3-x)M_xO_y(M=Fe,Al,Zn)体系的红外光谱,证明了YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-δ)中:p1(630cm~(-1))红外峰在正交相中确实属于一维Cu—O链上氧空位诱导的准局域模和α轴上Cu_1—O_5—Cu_1局域模的叠加;p2(580cm~(-1))红外峰在高氧相中不能观测到是由于受二维电子气的屏蔽,而并非是二维CuO_2网络中氧空位诱发的Cu—O准局域振动模;p3(550cm~(-1))红外峰即沿c轴O_4—Cu_1—O_4局域振动模,由于YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-δ)的二维特性不受二维电子气的屏蔽效应的影响,因此它在正交相和四角相强度变化不明显。同时还讨论了掺杂对YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-δ)超导电性及结构的影响。

Abstract:用在两种衬底(SrTiO_3和LaAlO_3)上生长的YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-x)。薄膜制成高灵敏的热敏型高温超导红外探测器。经500K标准黑体的测量,在10Hz调制频率时,以SrTiO_3为衬底的器件,D~*(500,10,1)达8.2×10~8cm·Hz~(1/2)/W,NEP(500,10,1)达1.6×10~(10)W/Hz~(1/2);以LaAlO_3为衬底的器件,NEP(500,10,1)达10~(-11)W/Hz~(1/2)。还测量并分析了D~*和NEP随频率的变化和噪声频谱。
Abstract:A hybrid electro-optic real-time psttern recognition system is proposed in this paper. The primary experimental results show that this system can implement automatic classification, model recognition and rotation-invariant pattern recognition rapidly.
Abstract:The chromatic aberration and effective power transmission spectra of planoconvex lenses made from high and low density polyethylene, TPX, polypropylene, PTFE and polystyrene have been calculated for the spectral region between 50 and 500cm~(-1). The calculations are based on optical constant data derived from measurements by dispersive Fourier transform spectroscopy.

Abstract:A cross-guide high-order harmonio mixer, which uses Schottky barrier diodes(S. B. D.), has been designed by means of optical and microwave techniques. It has been successfully applied in submillimeter wave heterodyne receiving and accurate measurements of FIR laser frequencies.
Abstract:The conformation change, the strand-separation of the helix and the soliton phenomenon of DNA, in whtch the low vibrational modes are involved, have been reviewed. It is pointed out that far-infrared and low frequency Raman spectroscopies would be a very useful tool in the study of the structure and biological function of DNA.
