    Abstract:

    Electrically tunable filters using liquid crystal as the cavity material were described. The transmission characteristic in the infrared wave band was measured under different conditions. It was shown that the tunable range is about 100nm, and the free spectral range is about 40nm. Through measurement and calculation of the transmission spectrum the refractive index of liquid crystal as a function of driving voltage was obtained
