    摘要:

    提出并构建了一个新颖的实时光电混合车辆牌照识别系统.系统摄取车辆牌照,由计算机完成牌照字符的分割和提取后,送入光学体全息子波关联存储协处理器进行牌照识别,该协处理器具有瞬间多通道并行相关特性,并采用子波变换提高系统的鉴别能力.实验结果验证了系统各项功能的可行性

    Abstract:

    A novel real time opto electronic system was proposed and constructed for license plate recognition.The extraction of characters in a license plate image was accomplished by a computer, and the recognition of the characters was achieved by a coprocessor based on volume holographic storage and wavelet correlation. The coprocessor has the ability of multi channel processing in a parallel and instant way. The feasibility of the system was testified by experimental results.
