    • Application of Dual Port RAM in Communication System between DSP and Interferometer

      2006(4):5-9.

      Abstract (616) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (40) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:A design method of dual-port RAM used in the interface between Digital Signal Processors (DSP) and an interferometer is presented, in order to enable the DSP to communicate with the interferometer at a high speed. The principle and operation rule of the IDT7024 are described. According to the design, the interface circuit and flow chart are also presented. Finally, three methods are proposed to prevent the conflict of two systems according to the arbitrated access to the data exchanged between both sides.

    • Solutions of Temperature Compensation of Fiber Grating Strain Sensors

      2006(4):10-14.

      Abstract (713) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (0) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:The cross-sensitivity problem of temperature and strain has handicapped the development of the applied FBG technology. In view of such a problem in FBG strain sensing measurement, several significant solutions for temperature compensation are described systematically in this paper. The principles and characteristics of the solutions are discussed and an improved configuration for temperature compensation by double metals is proposed.

    • Study of Point Target Detection in Infrared Images

      2006(4):15-19.

      Abstract (840) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (58) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:It is rather important to detect and recognize those small targets caused by missiles or aircrafts in the series infrared images acquired by satellites. This paper investigates the algorithms for small target detection and proposes the reliable means for searching the point targets at high density clutter background. The method is that first use the background algorithms to acquire a more adaptive signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), then apply the image segmentation means to find the object-existing district and finally detect the point targets by using the recognition algorithms.

    • Determination of Chemical Composition in HVGO by Near-Infrared Spectroscopy

      2006(4):20-24.

      Abstract (824) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (41) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:A new analytical method based on FT-NIR Spectroscopy in the 11000cm-1-6000cm-1 region was used to determine the chemical composition in HVGO products from different factories of YangZi. The NIR spectra of HVGO of different origin and processing schemes were recorded. A partial least squares (PLS) technique was used to construct the mathematical model and the latter could correlate the NIR spectral features with the chemical composition analyzed by HPGS/MS-FID. Twenty unknown samples were tested by the NIR method and the conventional method. The correlation coefficients of the results tested by two methods were 0.9857, 0.9854, 0.9968 and 0.9984 respectively for correctitude structure content, strange structure content, cycloparaffin content of saturates content and aromatics content. The NIR method has the advantages of better repeatability, shorter time of testing and simpler operation and does not consume solvent. It can be used as an alternative for determining the chemical composition of HVGO.

    • Study of Infrared Spectroscopic Analysis of Cotton Stalk Fiber

      2006(4):25-28.

      Abstract (847) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (27) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:A ball mill is used to separate the lignins of cotton stalk and these lignin are purified. Alkali lignin of KP and soda-AQ are separated and purified simultaneously. All of these lignins are analyzed by means of infrared spectroscopy. The results have indicated that the lignin in cotton stalk bark differs from the lignin in cotton stalk core; there are more parahydroxy phenylpropane and syringyl unit in cotton stalk bark and there are more guaiacyl unit in cotton stalk core; all of lignins have conjugated C=O and there is more conjugated C=O in cotton stalk bark than that in cotton stalk core. More parahydroxy phenylpropane in cotton stalk bark is delignified during cooking. This KP cooking is similar to soda-AQ cooking. More guaiacyl unit can be delignified during KP cooking than during soda-AQ cooking. There is alkyl hydrocarbon in sidepiece chain of all kinds of lignins.

    • Research on Laser Echo Acquiring Technique

      2006(4):29-35.

      Abstract (834) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (0) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Because a laser pulse has the features of good direction and anti-jamming, the laser pulse imaging technique is widely used to measure the three-dimensional information of the ground. The laser echo acquiring and processing technique is a key technique in laser pulse imaging. Through the analysis of laser echoes, the information on roughness, gradient and reflection of the ground can be acquired. In this paper, various lidar systems are analysed. The laser echo acquiring techniques which have been used are reviewed. The prospective development of the technique is described to some extent.

    • Investigation on Supporting Structure of Spacial Reflector

      2006(4):36-41.

      Abstract (711) HTML (0) PDF 0.00 Byte (18) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:With the development of remote sensing satellites and space optics, the resolution of spaceborne remote sensors is becoming higher and higher and the diameter of main reflectors is becoming larger and larger. The structure type, weight, support installation and temperature environment of the space reflector will directly affect the performance of the whole optical system. In this paper, the design of supporting structures is discussed. The solutions to the deformation caused by mirror gravity and to the stress and deformation resulting from the different thermal expansion coefficients of the mirror and the support structure are emphasized, so as to ensure the cooling and temperature uniformity of the reflector and enable the image quality of the optical system to meet the design and application requirements.
