Since the thermal imaging technology was firstly used in the detection of breast cancers, it has been widely used in medical diagnosis and more and more attention has also been paid to the technology. The medical infrared thermal imaging is an imaging equipment for recording the thermal field of a huaman body. By comparison with the X-CT, MRI, B-ultrasound Wave and so on, it has its unsubstitutable complementary function. It is a new branch of the modern medical imaging. In this paper, the application of the infrared thermal imaging technology in the field of medical treatment is mainly presented, the status and application principle of the infrared thermal imaging technology ave expounded and the advances in its clinical application are summarized.
