Abstract:HgMnTe is a typical Mn-based II--VI narrow-gap semimagnetic semiconductor and has been successfully applied in infrared photonic devices. Meanwhile, due to the existence of Mn ions, there are two important magnetic interactions in HgMnTe material. They are d-d and sp--d magnetic inter- actions. These two magnetic interactions make the HgMnTe material have some special photoelectric and magnetic properties such as spin-glass transition, giant negative magnetoresistance, magnetically driven insulator-to-metal, giant Faraday rotation, photoinduced magnetization and magnetic polaron effects. Hence, the HgMnTe material has many potential applications such as magnetic optoelectronic devices, quantum computation and quantum communication and may be a promising candidate material for spintronics.

Abstract:According to the temporal and spatial features of transient optical targets, an optical target detection and location method based on templates is proposed. By using weighted average to estimate the background and using a Robinson filter for secondary filtering of the residual image, the method has effectively reduced the target templates segmented by the cross projection method. In light of the local spatial characteristics and temporal characteristics of transient targets, multiple hypothesis testing is conducted on the potential target templates and the ultimate target templates generated. Finally, the real targets are extracted from the background by using these templates and their barycentric coordinates are calculated. Experimental results show that this method can locate several targets with a higher accuracy at the same time.

Abstract:Oxide vanadium thin film is an important part of an uncooled infrared focal plane detector. Its photoelectric properties are studied extensively at home and abroad. Several oxide vanadium thin films are fabricated on K9 glass substrates by using a reactive magnetron sputtering method and are annealed under a particular condition. It is found that the oxide vanadium thin film annealed at 300 ℃ exhibits the photovoltaic effect when it is illuminated by visible light. This should be attributed to the effective separation of the photo-induced carriers after the oxide vanadium thin film is formed. This photovoltaic property reveals the potential applications of oxide vanadium thin films in photoelectric detectors.

Abstract:Infrared radiation detection is one of the important technologies for detecting the targets in space. The external surface temperature of a space target is an important parameter required to study its infrared radiation characteristics. By using the output data of the STK software, the temperature characteristics of the solar panels of the satellites at different inclinations and altitudes are analyzed and simulated. This research result is of more important referential value to the infrared detection of space targets.

Abstract:The non-dispersive infrared multi-component gas detection technology and its application in continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS) are presented. The key factors and difficulties in multi-component gas detection are analyzed and the corresponding solutions are proposed. The composition, technical requirement and support for a non-dispersive infrared multi-component gas detection system used in CEMS are described in detail. It is concluded that it has the features of simple structure, low cost, high accuracy and good stability. The system is of some referential value to the development of multi-gas detection technology and instrument in our country.

Abstract:According to the imaging principle of an aerial infrared camera, the indexes for evaluating a camera are proposed. Then, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to get the weight vector of each index and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) is used to calculate the corresponding indexes. Finally, the feasibility of this method is verified in some examples. The calculation result shows that space resolution and temperature sensitivity are the two most sensitive indexes of an aerial infrared camera. This work is helpful to the development and improvement of aerial infrared cameras in the future.

Abstract:Through the analysis of the traditional two-point method for infrared non-uniformity correction, a novel infrared non-uniformity correction algorithm based on SOPC is proposed and implemented. The algorithm can modify the drift and blind pixels in the correction coefficients obtained in laboratory according to the actual scenes. The resulting correction coefficients are more in agreement with the actual scenes and the infrared non-uniformity correction accuracy is improved. The measured data show that this algorithm and its implementation method can meet the practical demand in engineering.

Abstract:Compared with the commercial silicon solar cells, the Dye-sensitized Solar Cells (DSSC) have attracted more attention in recent years because of their advantages of high energy conversion efficiency and low fabrication cost. The structure and basic principle of a DSSC is presented in brief. The key components of a DSSC and the factors which have influence on its photoelectric conversion efficiency are analyzed. A porous nanostructure TiO$_2$ layer is fabricated on a flexible Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) substrate by using a coating method. Finally, a flexible DSSC solar cell is formed by combining the porous nanostructure TiO2 layer with some corresponding dye and electrolyte. The test result shows that the solar cell has an open-circuit voltage higher than 100 mV and a short-circuit current greater than 1.2 mA.
