Abstract:Infrared image emulation is useful in the development of infrared systems. To get a full theoretical model of infrared image emulation, the mechanism of those four parts such as object and background radiation's emulation, atmosphere's emulation, optical system's emulation and staring detector's emulation is further analysed. Finally, an emulation picture is generated to show the effectiveness of the emulation model. To get good effectiveness, the ununiformity and diffraction effect are especially considered in the emulation picture.

Abstract:A real time high-speed data acquisition and record system for an airborne three linear array CCD camera used for three-dimentional photographing is presented. This system includes two subsystems: a color CCD high-speed data acquisition and storage subsystem and a monochrome CCD high-speed data acquisition and storage subsystem. After being buffered and stored by a cPCI data acquisition card, the high-speed data from the CCD camera are sent to a PXI bus. Then, a SCSI control card exchanges the data with the cPCI card on the PXI bus in the way of DMA. Because the intervention from CPU is not required in this process, the data storing speed is greatly improved. To test the performance of the system, air flight tests have been carried out.

Abstract:After considering the laser-induced heat effects in materials, the thermal diffusion equation is solved and the relation of the laser power with the pulse width and surface temperature under two usual conditions is given. The surface temperature of photoelectric detectors under the induced damage threshold is given according to the detector surface temperature curves. The thermal mechanism of detector damage is discussed.

Abstract:A license plate location algorithm based on structure feature is proposed. Four features are used to extract the license plate region from the candidate regions. The thresholds of licence plate's structure features are given: (1) The license plate region's ratio of width to height is in the range of [2,5]; (2) The licence plate region's density is bigger than 0.25; (3) The licence plate region's gray-change time is in the range of [5,15]. A lot of experiments have shown that the algorithm has an accuracy up to 90.17%.

Then, the issue how to make them compatible with each other to form electro-optic multiple stealthy coatings is discussed. Abstract:The properties of the films by PECVD deposition have been studied. The thickness of the film was measured by a spectroscopic ellipsometer. The film stress was analyzed by a stress distribution test instrument. The resistivity, square resistence, TCR and the relation among them were investigated by a four-probe instrument. It has been found that the film by PECVD deposition is symmetrical and its depositon rate is up to 31.89nm/mim The film has low stressand high TCR. Through data analysis, it is concluded that the relation between the resistivity and TCR of the film is nearly linear in a given resistivity range.

The current status of the development of thermograph testing systems and the products from some main companies are presented. The measurement methods for the main parameters of thermographs are investigated. At the end, a design plan of a thermograph testing system is given.

After analyzing and comparing the aspects of system design, optical system design, choice of sensor, electronic system and data processing of the existing sunphotometers at home and board, the basic development status of this series of instruments is obtained.

Abstract:Contamination is a crucial factor that has great influence on the life time of mechanical cryocoolers. First, the generation of contamination sources is clarified in this paper. Then, the Monte Carlo method and the mass transfer equation are used to simulate the complicated mass transfer process of gas contamination in coolers. Finally, the influence of gas contamination on the performance of coolers is analyzed. Some contamination control procedures and life estimation methods of cryocoolers are proposed.
