In this paper,the status of the technology,development trend and basic properties of the InGaAs infrared focal plane arrays (FPAs) at home and abroad are presented.The structures and principles of several InGaAs FPAs are described.The infrared InGaAs FPAs are now being applied to civilian,military and space remote sensing applications broadly.At present,it is important to pay attention to the research and development of InGaAs FPAs.
