A novel scheme for multispectral high resolution image fusion based on the texture energy analysis with wavelet transformation is proposed. It can increase the spatial resolution of the merged image while preserving it's spectral information. Thus, the defects of the traditional data fusion methods can be overcome. Experimental comparisons show that it has better fusion performance than some traditional methods.
