The rapid prototyping and Sterelithgraphy Apparatus (SLA) are presented in brief. Through the description of the principle of a quantum well, the InGaN-based multi-quantum well laser and its advantages as the laser source for SLA are further discussed. Finally, the development and applications of the InGaN-based multi-quantum well laser are forecasted.
