Abstract:The aero-optical effects of THAAD-liked IR seeker are computated and analyzed for aircraft designing.Using the National Numerical Windtunnel software NNW-HyFLOW which based on solving 3-D Navir-Stockes equation, and considering the thermo-chemical nonequilibrium effects and coupling the material heat exchange, the flow-fileds are numerical simulated. The needed parameters are obtained from the flow which including density, temprature, and pressure and so on.And the temprature filed parameters of the optical window are also obtained.Using the aero-optical evaluation function of HyFLOW,which is combine the geometrical optics and physical optics methods, the IR signals transmitting through the flow and optical, and imaging on the Infrared array detection are calculated.Using the IR radiation code AEROPH_Radiation,the radiation of the flow and optical window are calculated. The results show that when the THAAD-liked IR seeker flying above 30km,the flow and optical window will have ignoring impact on the IR optical transmitting and imaging, but the radiation effects of the flow and optical window will influence the distinguishability of the IR seeker. However, when the IR seeker intercepts the target at higher altitude, the influence will weakening. According to the analysis of the radiation effects and weakness of the sapphire window, some technologies may be employed for aircraft designing. |
