特殊整形飞秒激光脉冲泵浦光电导天线产生宽带太赫兹辐射研究

中文摘要:飞秒激光脉冲泵浦光电导天线可以产生宽带太赫兹脉冲辐射。采用具有缓慢上升-快速下降特殊脉冲包络的飞秒激光脉冲与光电导天线作用产生太赫兹辐射,基于Drude-Lorentz模型计算了太赫兹辐射的特性。讨论了激光脉冲脉宽和半导体载流子寿命对太赫兹辐射产生的影响。计算结果表明,尽管这种特殊整形的飞秒激光脉冲能量有所损失,它能够比普通飞秒激光脉冲产生更宽的太赫兹辐射。该结果为实验上基于光电导天线产生宽带太赫兹脉冲辐射提供了新的思路。

Research on Broadband Terahertz Radiation Generated by Specially Shaped Femtosecond Laser Pulse Pumped Photoconductive Antenna
Abstract:The interaction of femtosecond laser pulses with photoconductive antennas can generate broadband terahertz pulse radiation. A specially shaped femtosecond laser pulse is used to pump photoconductive antenna to generate broadband terahertz radiation, and the properties of such terahertz radiation are calculated based on the Drude-Lorentz model. The influences of laser pulse duration and the carrier lifetime in the semiconductors on the terahertz radiation are also discussed. Calculation results show that this specially shaped femtosecond laser pulse with slow turn-on, rapid turn-off envelope can produce wider terahertz radiation than the normal femtosecond laser pulses although some laser pulse energy is lost during the shaping process. This study provides a new idea to generate broadband terahertz pulse radiation based on the photoconductor antenna in the experiment.
