近场热辐射研究最新进展

中文摘要:近场热辐射存在光子隧道效应、表面极化激元等作用,其辐射热通量比远场辐射热通量大5~6个数量级,且与间距的6次方成反比。这些特性在近场热扫描显微镜、微型热光电系统等方面已得到广泛应用。本文简单介绍了与近场热辐射相关的涨落电动力学、涨落耗散理论,并从数值模拟和实验研究两个方面,综述了近场热辐射研究的最新进展。

Recent Research Progress of Near-field Thermal Radiation
Abstract:Due to the photon tunneling effect and the excitation of surface polaritons, the near-field radiative heat flux is about five to six orders of magnitude higher than the macro-scale heat flux, and around six orders of magnitude inversely-proportional to the spacing interval. These unique characteristics had been broadly applied on the near-field scanning thermal microscopy, the micro-scale thermophotovoltaic system and so on. This paper briefly introduces the fluctuation electrodynamics and fluctuation dissipation theory that are related to the near-field thermal radiation, and the recent research highlights of the near-field radiation heat transfer in two aspects: numerical simulations and experimental results.
